SCRIPTURE: I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. Psalm 130:5.

The Scripture makes it clear that the Word of God is the builder of our hope. God’s Word keeps our hope alive. The Word of God delivers people from discouragement.

Psalms 119:49 says,
Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

Also, Psalm 119:81 says,
My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
God’s Word makes it possible for us to hope in God.

Psalm 119:114 says,
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
Beloved, every time you are in a situation where your mind is fainting or shaking, trust God for a Word out of Scripture.

God can speak to you in different ways: at times, it may be a phrase like, ‘…Fear Not, for I am with you…’ Then you read the full context of this Word from the Scripture in Isaiah 41:10:. As you read, something from the verse may make you rise up like a lion.

Many times, God has more things to say than what we see in Scriptures. Many people do not get anything new from Scriptures because they think that they already know the passage. It is not supposed to be so.

The Word of God is a builder of hope. You cannot be worded and be hopeless.

For instance, it is the Word of God that has given us hope to keep praying our Nation, otherwise, when you see some things in the physical, you are tempted to lose hope.

Beloved, as you read the Word of God, your hope shall increase in Jesus’ Name.
Always Give yourself to studying the Word of God consistently to ward off every spirit of discouragement and despair.
Always encourage yourself in the Lord by the Word.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I decree the arrest of every spirit of discouragement and hopelessness in my life by the Word of God, in Jesus’ Name.
