20 MAY : THE TRAGEDY OF GREED

SCRIPTURE: He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.
Proverbs 15:27

In life, I have realized that greed is one of the major reasons people take the lives of others. Greed is the reason behind kidnapping people for ransom taking. A kidnapper who collects ransom before releasing his captives is making evil money. That ransom he collects is evil money.

All those who make gains from people’s pains, like armed robbers, kidnappers, serial killers, ritual killers, etc., are only waiting for the day of doom. They have rendered many people widows, orphans and childless, all in a bid to make money.

Money made from human trafficking is also evil money. The love of money drives people to do different kinds of evil things.

Ritual killers or those who trade in human body parts are also in this category as they make money at the expense of human lives. That is wicked money. Ritual killing and trading in human body parts is a dangerous, wicked, cruel, evil and devilish way of making money. Money made at the expense of human blood is an abomination, and has no future. Those making such money are doomed in this world and in the world to come.

In Africa and some evil parts of the world, There are places they call baby factories where some street boys are made to impregnate some kidnapped girls in their teens or early twenties. The street boys are made to just impregnate the girls randomly, and then the girls give birth to children. The girls are then paid a paltry sum of money and their children are made available for sale to anyone and for any reason, including ritual purpose. The children are sold to people for different evil purposes.

Beloved, shun greed. Do not indulge in any form of evil practice to make money.

Be contented with what you have and refuse to be greedy.
Shun dubious and evil means of making money. Engage the practice of the covenant, and be diligent in your legitimate pursuit of prosperity.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the lifestyle of greed. I receive the grace for the practice of the covenant and the diligent pursuit of legitimate prosperity in Jesus’ Name.

19 MAY : PROSPERING BY SEEKING GOD

SCRIPTURE: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33.

It has been established that the God-first mentality is key to excelling in all areas of life. Those who seek God first can never come last in life; and those who seek God last can never come first in life.

In our study today, we shall explore the life of a man who excelled in life by maintaining the God-first mentality.

King Uzziah
King Uzziah was one Scriptural example of people who became excellent in life by maintaining the God-first mentality.

2 Chronicles 26:4-5 says,
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did. And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.

Reading the above Scripture further, you would discover that Uzziah invented engines; he was the first inventor of the armoured personnel carrier and the armoured tanks. He was the first inventor of the engines that shoot bullets. Apart from being an inventor, he was also one of the richest kings in Israel.

In those days, if you counted rich kings in Israel, you would count Kings like David, Solomon, Asa, Hezekiah and also Uzziah. These kings were massively loaded with substance and abundance. They could build cities from their resources. Uzziah was one of them. As long as Uzziah sought the Lord, God made him prosper.

Beloved, there is no negotiation; if you want to stand tall before men, you must bow low before God; if you want to rise in height, you must drop in pride as you go before God.

You must Make up your mind to seek the Lord with all your heart, strength and soul.
Seek God for Who He is, and not for what He can give.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to seek You above all treasures of life. Grant me the discipline to tarry in Your Presence until I find You Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

18 MAY : DEALING WITH THE FOUNDATION OF DELAY

SCRIPTURE: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Galatians 3:13

It has been established that evil foundations or hidden unbroken curses are detrimental to life and destiny. Evil foundations hinder a person from reaching his ordained destiny in God.

In our previous study, we saw how an evil foundation hindered Terah from reaching his ordained destiny.

Please understand that if curses are not broken, they can also affect the next generation. The evil foundation in the life of Terah also affected his children. Terah had three children; Abraham, Nahor and Haran and the delay from the foundation of their father affected all three of them negatively.

Abraham got stagnated or delayed in life because of the evil foundation from his father that fought his destiny.

Haran died without achieving anything with his life. He died before his time. His father was still alive when he died without any achievement. His only “achievement” was Lot who ended as a disaster.

Now, looking at Lot, when the angel came to Sodom and Gomorrah to destroy the land, they gave him a commandment to move out of the land but the foundation of his family was still fighting him (Gen 19:15-16).

The angels were in haste to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah but Lot was dragging his feet and wasting their time. If not for the Mercy of God, he would have been consumed in Sodom because of the delay. He would have died with the wicked because of the foundation that was fighting him from his father’s house.

So, the angels brought him out of Sodom by Mercy.

You see, it is clear that one reason why your foundation has not destroyed your life is the Mercy of God. The reason why what has been fighting you from your father’s house has not finished you is the Mercy of God.

Today, I come against the plague of delay in your life; any foundation of delay in your life is broken, in Jesus’ Name.

Today, also Make demands on the Blood of Jesus for the breaking of every evil foundation or unbroken hidden curse in your life.

PRAYER: Lord, by the Power of the Blood of Jesus Christ and the finished work of the Cross of Calvary, I break every evil foundation and hidden curse in my life, in Jesus’ Name.

17 MAY : TOPIC: THE PATHWAY TO ACCESSING LIGHT

SCRIPTURE: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1

The Countenance of the Lord carries light; the way of light is the way of His Presence.
Light is powerful. And one power of light is the power of direction. Light gives direction. Light shows you which way to go in life.

For example, when you find yourself in a thick dark jungle and you don’t know where to go, all you need to see is light, and then you will know which way to go. So, the power of light is the power of direction.

Psalm 119:105 says,
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
You see, when the eyes are unable to receive light, they say the person is blind. A blind person can’t move as he wants because he doesn’t have direction.
But when light comes, direction is made available.

Now, what is the way of light?

1. It is the way of the Word.
   Psalm 119:130 says,
   The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
   The Word of God is the gateway to the world of light. While studying the Word, we can ask God to open our eyes to see light we haven’t seen before.
2. It is the way of His Presence.
   God Himself is light.

Psalm 89:15 says,
Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
The Countenance of the Lord carries light; the way of light is the way of His Presence.

My counsel is, go for His Word, and go for His Presence. Then you shall come to the point where you will see light for distinction, restoration, illumination, revelation and direction.
Beloved, Make up your mind to go for the Word and His Presence to access Light.
Spend time with God at the place of prayer to access the light of His Countenance.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the provision of Your light that dispels darkness. I receive the grace to spend time with the Word and in Your Presence, so I can be lighted, in Jesus’ Name.

16 MAY : SCRIPTURAL REVELATIONS THAT POWER DIVINE HEALTH

SCRIPTURE: And I went up by revelation,
Gal 2:2

One of the greatest assets of a child of God is access to light, insight and revelation. Just as Satan keeps people down in bondage by ignorance, God lift people up by revelations (Galatians 2:2). And one of such revelations that lift people up in life is the revelation of the basis for divine health.

To know the reason why you should live and walk in divine health is to live and walk in divine health.

On the Other hand, to be ignorant of your scriptural basis for living or walking in divine health is to be perpetually sick. That will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

Now, let me give you four Scriptural insights why you must live perpetually in Divine Health.

i. Man’s Creation in God’s Image. (Gen. 1:26)
You are created in the Image of the sickless God, so you are not permitted to be sick.

ii. God’s Provision through the Abrahamic Covenant (Gal. 3:13-18).

God’s provision for us through the Abrahamic covenant guarantees divine health.
iii. Christ’s Sacrifice and Death at Calvary (Isaiah 53:4-5)

By His stripes, we have been healed, so we cannot be sick.

iv. The Saint’s Membership (or Oneness) With the Body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:4-6)

You are a member of the Body of Christ; and if Christ cannot be sick, you, being a member of His Body cannot be sick.

This means, whenever the devil tells you that you are not expected to be in health, let him know that God created you in His Image, and God’s Image is characterised by sicklessness, wearilessness, wholeness and vitality.
Let that devil know also that you are a child or seed of Abraham who has the Arahamic covenant packaged with divine health and longevity. Let him know that Christ took away your sickness on the Cross of Calvary.

And finally, let the devil know that you are a member of the Body of Christ, and that alone qualifies you to live in divine health permanently, because Christ is not sick, and so, no part or member of His Body is permitted to be sick.

Therefore, Ask God to open your eyes to see His Word in a deeper dimension.
Believe God’s provisions for Divine Health in Scriptures and refuse to be sick.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace and help to believe Your Word and live in divine health permanently, in Jesus’ Name.

15 MAY : RESTORATION AND ILLUMINATION BY LIGHT

SCRIPTURE: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Isaiah 60:1.

In our previous study, we saw the power of light. We saw that light makes people stand out in life. The power of light is the power of distinction.

In our study today, we shall further explore the power of light.

1. The power of restoration.
   The power of light is the power of restoration. Missing things are locatable by light. What is lost can be found where light is available.
   Luke 15:8 says,
   Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
   The woman in this Scripture lost her coin. But when she lit her candle and swept her house, she found the lost coin. So, the power of light is the power of restoration. Light restores.
   Whether it is light from the Scripture or light from revelation, if you follow light, you can locate what is lost or missing.
2. The power of illumination.
   The Power of light is the power of illumination. It is the power to handle darkness
   John 1:5 says,
   And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
   The forces of darkness bow to the power of light – be it the darkness of occult, witchcraft, disease, or affliction; they bow to light.
3. The power of revelation.
   Also, the power of light is the power of revelation.
   Isaiah 9:8 says,
   The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
   Word equals light; and light equals word. Revelation causes you to see something you never saw before.
   By all means, deal with every trace of ignorance in your life. Pay the price to acquire light so your life and destiny can experience restoration, illumination and revelation.
   Make up your mind to access restoration, illumination and revelation through the power of light.
   Ask God to open your eyes and heart to see greater dimensions of light.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to access restoration, illumination and revelation through the power of light. Open my eyes and heart to access greater dimensions of light, in Jesus’ Name.

14 MAY : DEFINING CURSES

SCRIPTURE: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Galatians 3:13.

The Scripture makes it clear that one thing God gave to man at the beginning of creation was the Blessing (Gen. 1:26). That shows that it is not the Will of God for His children to operate under a curse.

The question is, what is a curse and how does it operate?
Curses are negative decrees, verdicts or pronouncements that limit, disempower or destroy the lives and destinies of its recipients.

When we say a curse is at work in a person’s life, it means there is a verdict, a decree, a pronouncement that is limiting or disempowering that person’s life. Curses disempower their victims; curses destroy the lives and destinies of their victims.

You must understand that curses, most times, are products of evil covenants or transactions. Curses can come either deliberately by evil covenants and transactions. They can also come unwittingly.

Someone may make negative comments on another person without having the intention to destroy anyone. He may just make some careless pronouncements and these pronouncements become binding curses on the lives of people. The people that make this kind of pronouncements are majorly authority figures like one’s biological parents or spiritual persons.

But I decree in the Name that is above every name, Jesus Christ the resurrected Lord, every negative verdict, decree, or pronouncement that has been fighting your life and destiny are nullified and neutralized now.

I decree that no curse, negative decree, verdict or pronouncement shall limit, disempower or destroy your life and destiny, in Jesus’ Name.

I release the Blessing of the Lord upon your life to overturn every curse, negative verdict and pronouncement working against you, in Jesus’ Name.

Make demands on the finished Work of Calvary to deal with every curse and covenant in your life and family.

PRAYER: Thank You LORD for Your Word to me to today. I make demands on the Blood of Jesus to wipe out every curse and covenant running through my life and family, in Jesus’ Name.

13TH MAY : BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF ANCIENT FOUNDATIONS AND HIDDEN CURSES

SCRIPTURE: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Galatians 3:13.

It has been confirmed that one of the things that limits lives and destinies is evil foundations and hidden unbroken curses. Curses are negative decrees, verdicts or pronouncements that limit, disempower or destroy the lives and destinies of its recipients.

Now, let me give you biblical examples of evil foundations and hidden unbroken curses.

1. The human race through Adam and Eve.
   Adam and Eve had a transaction with the devil and that transaction established humanity on a foundation of gloom, doom and death.
   God told Adam not to eat the forbidden fruit (Gen. 2:16-17). But Adam disobeyed God and ate the fruit, and that established a curse on Adam and the whole human race (Gen. 3:14-19).
   That was the foundation of gloom, doom, hardship and death that Adam brought upon humanity. But thank God for Jesus Christ who, on the Cross of Calvary, reversed the curse that Adam brought on us.
2. The Lineage of Terah, Abraham’s father.
   There seemed to be a foundation in Terah’s family that led to a hidden curse (Gen. 11:29-32). In Hebrew, the meaning of the name, Terah, is delay and stagnation. There was something about the beginning, situation and foundation of Terah’s life that had something to do with delay.
   So, Terah equals delay and stagnation; it means failure to achieve things on time. The delay began with Terah himself. He had a call to move to Canaan but he came to the land of Haran and dwelt there. Instead of reaching the place of his destiny, he remained in Haran and died there (Genesis 11:30-31).
   In that place, he gave birth to his three sons of whom one is called Nahor. Nahor means snoring or the one who snores. And you know that sleep is the mother of delay in life. Nahor lived without achieving anything with his life.

Today, I decree that every curse or evil foundation in your life is uprooted, in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, Make demand on the finished Work on the Cross and the Blood of Jesus Christ to neutralize every evil foundation and curse on your life and family.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I make demands on the Altar and Sacrifice at Calvary to neutralize every evil foundation and curse on my life and family Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

12 MAY : THE POWER OF LIGHT

SCRIPTURE: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Isaiah 60:1

It has been established that light powers life. Indeed, light practically powers life.

John 1:4 says,
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
This shows that light practically powers life. The availability of light affects the existence and quality of life.

If you compare the underdeveloped countries of this world, where you have epileptic power supply, to the developed countries, where there is uninterrupted power supply, you would realize that the difference in life’s quality is availability of light. Light powers life.

It has been said that the sun is at the exact position it should be to the earth. If you move the sun a little further away from its present position, the whole creation will freeze to death.

Creation needs the sunlight to function properly. For example, lizards acquire energy from sunlight to move in the morning; eagles need sunlight to receive strength, plants receive energy in the form of sunlight to manufacture their food in the process called photosynthesis.

In our study today, I would like to itemize one point on the power of light.

It is the power of distinction.
The power of light is the power of distinction.

Isaiah 60:1 says,
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

Things stand out with light. And it is possible for things to die out without light. So, the power of light is the power of distinction.

My counsel is, go for light, inspiration or revelation from the Scripture so you can stand out in your generation.

Be determined to stand out with light to impact your generation.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the power of light. I ask for the grace to access greater dimension of light so I can stand out, and impact my generation, in Jesus’ Na

11 MAY : UNDERSTANDING FOUNDATIONS

SCRIPTURE: And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
Isaiah 51:16

In our previous study, we saw that foundations play critical roles in life and destiny. We saw that most times, the challenges we face later in life are products of faulty foundations.

In our study today, we shall attempt to define foundation.

Now, what is a foundation?

1. Foundation refers to the origin, beginning underlying basis, or principle of a thing or structure.
   The origin, beginning, or the underlying basis of a thing is its foundation.
2. Foundation refers to the force or forces that determine the existence and future of a structure or system.
   The force that determines the future and existence of a structure or system is its foundation.

You may have seen a situation where members of some families never get married, or if they get married at all, the marriages fail. There are also situations where people rise to a level in life but crash, or families where people never live to a certain age before being cut off by premature death, etc. All these are signs of faulty foundations.

So, foundation also determines the quality of life and destiny.
Now, evil foundations are evil or negative forces that are at the origin or root of families. They occasion negative events in the future life of those families. And these evil foundations are usually the product of demonic covenants and transactions.

Today, I decree, by the apostolic and prophetic mantle of fire on my life, the collapse of every evil foundation of your life and family that has been fighting your destiny and those of your family members, in Jesus’ Name.

Find out the evil foundation, or patterns around your life and family and deal with them.
Connect to a higher mantle to deal with every evil foundation in your life and family.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for making me to understand what evil foundations are. I decree the collapse of every evil foundation and negative pattern around my life and family, in Jesus’ Name.
