SCRIPTURE: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 2 CORINTHIANS 6:14-15.
In our world today, it is difficult to identify who a Christian or a child of God is by looking at his lifestyle or association.
Acts 4:13 says,
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
When the people saw the boldness of Peter and John, they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus. This means, the lifestyle of Jesus was reflected in their lives.
One area of the Christian life where change is expected is the area of the kind of company or association the Christian keeps.
To be a genuine Christian, there must be a change in your association. The kind of people you relate or associate with must reflect that you are a changed person.
As a Christian, it is not possible to maintain the same ungodly associations you used to keep before you received your salvation, and still make it to eternity with Jesus.
It may interest you to know that your company affects your destiny; your friends influence your future. The influence over your life determines the outcome of your life. You cannot end at the right destination with the wrong association.
2 Corinthians 6:14-15 says,

As a Christian, it is very important to be mindful of your association. Keep the right company to realize the right destiny.
Reject every form of negative association. Keep the right association to arrive at the right destination.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to maintain quality and right company. Deliver me from wrong and negative associations, in Jesus’ Name.
